However, in many cases the lower level employees have a biased opinion on who they want at the table thus limiting a company&#039;s options.  Fear of change makes them look at the incumbant, fear of failure makes them look at the largest provider.  This is where top management should ensure that all RFP processes are adequately structured to give the best solution.  This gives confidence to the selection process.  Having said this, nothing irritates me more than for a vendor to go behind the back of my employees to work me for a decision.</description>
